Frequently Asked Questions

What We Do for Whitehorse Homes

Repairs, Water Services and Gas

Where a property has been added to over the years, the plumbing can be a mix of original and later work. Establishing what feeds what is worth doing before a repair rather than during it.

Our general plumbing work in Whitehorse covers dripping taps, running toilets, leaking pipework and poor water pressure, along with licensed gas fitting, gas leak detection and appliance connections.

Drain Inspection, Locating and Repair

Knowing whether a drain problem is a one-off or a fault in the pipe changes what is worth spending. A camera inspection answers that, and a locator marks the position and depth of a fault before anyone digs.

Camera inspection and locating are both standard on our drainage work in Whitehorse, along with clearing, excavation, drain and sewer repairs and stormwater drainage.

Hot Water

Whether a hot water fault is repairable or the unit has finished decides whether you are spending a little or a lot, so that is what we establish first.

We inspect the system, explain what has failed and go through the options with you before any work begins on your Whitehorse property.

Bathroom, Kitchen and Laundry Renovations

In an older home the existing services are rarely documented, so the layout you want has to be planned around what is actually in the floor and walls. Locating those services before the plans are fixed is what avoids expensive changes later.

We locate the existing services before the plans are fixed on Whitehorse renovations, then handle the rough-in, the falls before waterproofing and the fit-off after tiling.

Gutters, Downpipes and Stormwater

Guttering on established properties can lose fall, rust through or simply be undersized for the roof area feeding it, and where mature trees overhang a roof, gutters may hold debris and stay damp for longer.

We trace roof leaks back to the entry point on Whitehorse properties and repair the valleys, flashings and penetrations that commonly cause them.

24 Hour Emergency Plumbing

Burst pipes, surcharging sewers, major leaks and hot water failures are covered around the clock.

Whitehorse sits toward the outer edge of our service area, so we will always give you an honest answer on timing rather than a promise we cannot keep.
