Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, and it usually works out better than doing them separately. The rough-in and fit off can be scheduled together, and there is only one round of coordination with the tiler and cabinetmaker.
Usually, but it is the change that most affects cost, because the waste has to run under the floor with enough fall. On a slab that means cutting concrete, which is worth knowing before the plan is final.
Less often, because it is modern PVC rather than earthenware. When it happens it is usually what has gone down the line, or a stormwater system struggling with the amount of roof and paving feeding it.
Yes, with proper fittings and an isolation valve so they can be shut off without turning the house off. We test and check for leaks before we leave.
Talk to us while the layout is still being decided rather than after. The cheapest time to find out that a fixture position needs slab work is before the cabinetry has been ordered.

Our Wantirna South Plumbing Services in Detail
Fixtures, Appliances and Gas
As newer properties reach twenty or thirty years, original tapware and toilet suites can reach the end of their useful life even where the pipework behind them is still fine.
We replace tapware and suites across Wantirna South, connect appliances so nothing leaks behind cabinetry, and handle gas cooktop and heater connections.

Newer properties are generally laid with modern PVC drainage, which is far more forgiving than older earthenware. Blockages here are more often caused by what has gone down the line than by a fault in the pipe.
We install and repair stormwater drainage in Wantirna South, including new lines, pits and connections through to the legal point of discharge.
View stormwater drainage View stormwater connectionsHot Water Systems
Systems installed with a newer home tend to reach replacement age at much the same time, and the household using the house now may be larger than the one it was originally sized for.
We can look at whether the issue is a fault or a question of sizing, and repair or replace accordingly for Wantirna South homes.

As newer properties age, the original bathroom, ensuite and kitchen tend to become due at around the same time. The pipework behind them is usually sound, so the work is more about moving services to suit a better layout.
We look at the existing services early on Wantirna South renovations and set out the new pipework for the fixtures you have chosen.

Overflowing gutters are not always the gutter itself. A blocked or undersized downpipe, or a stormwater line that is not carrying water away, can produce the same result.
We check downpipe sizing and the capacity of the underground line on Wantirna South properties, and install or upgrade stormwater drainage where it is needed.
